[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It seems that IPL2020 is proving to be unlucky for Sunil Narine. The Kolkata Knight Riders spinner’s bowling action has been called into question again by the umpires. The on field umpires reported Narine’s bowling action again after Saturday’s IPL match against Kings XI Punjab.

“The report was made by the on-field umpires according to the IPL’s suspected illegal bowling action policy,” league authorities said in a statement after the match in Abu Dhabi.

As a result, the West Indies spinner will now be placed on a ‘warning list’. Narine can continue as per normal until he is reported again.

Fans of the spinner will remember the all rounder being reported twice in the now-defunct Champions League T20 in 2014. After being called twice, Narine made changes to his action but the problem still remains.

He was first called in the 2015 IPL and also in a one day match against Sri Lanka in the same year. Problems with his bowling action continued as he was reported yet once in the 2018 Pakistan Super League before being cleared to bowl.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
