Little Master Tendulkar on the hunt for his first car

Tendulkar is one of the most popular cricket players and public figures in India. In the 1990’s shortly after becoming a professional cricket player, he decided to buy his first car, a Maruti 800
This car was simply not just a car, in India it represented dreams and status among everyone. In 2014 when Maruti decided to stop making the car it devastated many across India.

Now in 2020, Tendulkar has made a plea to his fans to try locate his very first car. Although he unfortunately provided very little detail on how to identify his specific car.
However he is keen to locate this car and and reminisce on some of the best moments in his life.

He sold the car in order to buy several new cars as he had a strong love for cars and now had the means to fund this love.
When speaking about his love for cars he mentioned “There was a massive open drive-in movie hall near my house where people used to park their cars and watch the movie, sitting in it. So I, along with my brother, used to stand in our balcony for hours to watch those cars,”

Tendulkar had an exciting career, he made is international debut at the young age of 16 and became the only batsman to hit 100 international centuries. Not only that but Tendulkar is the highest scorer in both Tests and ODIs, with 15,921 runs in 200 Tests and 18,426 runs in 463 ODIs.
